Housing guidance for Georgia Institute of Technology.
Housing is charged by semester to the Georgia Tech student account and is due under Bursar deadlines.

How and when are residence-hall charges billed?
Georgia Tech publishes 2026–27 housing rates per person, per semester. Housing, dining, tuition and other institutional charges flow to the student Bursar account; for Fall 2026, the Bursar published an August 31 payment deadline.
What is the true annual cost of living in a Georgia Tech residence hall?
Georgia Tech publishes housing and dining separately. A traditional room priced at $3,919 per semester plus a 2026–27 First-Year Everyday Unlimited or First Year Flex plan at $3,196 per semester totals $7,115 per semester, or $14,230 across fall and spring. Other room styles change the housing portion, so use the student's actual assignment for a final number.
Are payment plans available for residence-hall housing?
The Georgia Tech Payment Plan lets eligible students spread covered charges over scheduled installments rather than paying the entire eligible balance at once. Families should enroll during the published term window and review which charges and aid are included in the plan calculation.
What happens if a housing payment is late?
Housing is part of the student's Georgia Tech account. The Bursar publishes a firm payment deadline, and unpaid balances can lead to holds or other account/registration consequences. Housing contract obligations also remain in force, so a family expecting a delay should contact the Bursar and Housing before the deadline.
What does Georgia Tech room and board include?
Housing & Residence Life states that on-campus housing includes furnishings, utilities, free Wi-Fi access and free residence-hall laundry. Meal plans are priced separately; first-year students living on campus must select an eligible meal plan.
